Help at Home for the Busy Executive
The past year, the team and I have welcomed dozens of new clients, many busy executives and women business owners into our arms. Each having their own needs and aspirations, each having their own “must haves” and “nice to” haves.
But the one thing they ALL have in common is saying YES to themselves. For many, it took months of struggling trying to manage it all. Ok, who am I kidding? It took them years! For some they had been searching for quite some time looking for the right “fit”, unsure of who or what service was out there that could help them at home…
Today I’ll share with you WHAT help at home could look like for you.

Many women today are not only holding down the fort at home, but they hold top positions in their companies. Many own their own businesses or are taking on roles that leave them tired and exhausted at the end of the day.
One of the things many of our clients’ need help with (specifically our executive and entrepreneur Moms) is “help at home”.
What does “help at home” look like and why is it so valuable to our clients?
Having your own dedicated personal concierge to handle the mundane tasks of life has been thought in the past to be a luxury. A luxury, that many deep down inside do not think they “deserve”. But more and more people are realizing that it doesn’t have to be that way.
It has become common place in our society for people to say yes to everything and no to nothing. People become overwhelmed, stressed and feeling like life is just slipping by moment by moment. Our society has been taught that we HAVE to be responsible for everything and for everyone.
The reality is that work never only runs from 9-5. We have stuff do to, like preparing lunches and meal plans, walking the dog and answering overflowing inboxes, all before you to go your 9-5. Then during work you’re scrambling trying to schedule the home repairs, the landscaper and all the other household management items that go into maintaining a home.
After work, it’s more of the same. Phone calls, grocery shopping, gift buying, car maintenance, and helping aging parents, just to name a few.
This is the reality of our clients’ lives and WHY they need help at home.

There’s a cultural mindset that makes it difficult to ask for help, and we end up becoming overwhelmed with the expectations of having it all. As we’ve already pointed out, work doesn’t just happen from nine to five.
Life is MEANT to be fully lived AND enjoyed!! We did not come here to solely be a workaholic. Life was meant to have moments that bring us joy and laughter and peace.
But that’s a nearly impossible task when almost every hour of our lives is spoken for. So we tell ourselves that we just have to stick it out for another few years. It will get better when the kids are grown or work isn’t so crazy, right?
But nothing is ever guaranteed. In the end, some part of our lives suffer whether it’s work (business), home or relationships.
