Massive Action = Massive Growth
How are you this week?? Over at Task Complete, we have been doing just ONE thing and that ONE thing has created massive growth! So today, I want to give you a sneak peek into what that ONE thing is 😊
The ONE Thing, is taking MASSIVE ACTION!!
No, not little bits of action, MASSIVE action!! If you’re trying to grow your business or perhaps you hit a plateau and aren’t sure what’s in the way, it’s because you haven’t mastered the art of MASSIVE action.
When I first started my business, I found myself sitting at home, cruising through the internet and “trying” to figure out how to get clients. All I had on my hands was time. Me being an action, getter done kinda personality, I took to the streets with all I had… TIME! And in that time, I spoke to as many people as I could. I went to each and every networking thing I could and I read as many books as I could. I tell my students all the time, you have to be like a politician!! Get out there, shake hands and kiss some babies 😊
But NOT many entrepreneurs are willing to put in the work. And that is hands down why so many fail.
Why is it so important to take massive action? Because the #1 problem that faces any business is the problem of obscurity. Simply put, no one knows you exist unless YOU make them aware.
And the only way to do THAT is to do so with MASSIVE ACTION!! I actually read a book by Grant Cardone, and in his book he says that Massive Action is the kind of action that creates problems!!
At first I was like … whaaaaatttt?? But then I thought about it! He was absolutely 100% RIGHT!
Massive action = BIG results = New problems you now face!
I know, you’re likely groaning at me right now. I’m pretty sure you don’t want “new problems”. But the reality is that this is the ONLY thing that moves you forward from where you are to where you want to be.
Let me give you some concrete things to think about before you poo poo this idea. 😊
In my business (Task Complete), I decided to turn up the volume on ALLLLL our marketing last year. This year we turned it up even more. Because of taking massive action, we created a problem! Because we have had so many referrals coming our way, we were actually faced with a problem; NOT enough team to take care of all the new referrals coming in. Truth! I have had to put some people on a waiting list because we need more team. THAT is what is meant by Massive action = new problems.
Since January, we have been on a VERY intense hiring focus to meet the demands we created through “massive action”. So how can YOU take “massive action” in your own business so you end up with the kind of results that create new “quality” problems??
Here are just a few ideas!!
Massively Network! Be Seen!
The key to being seen is putting yourself out there! No one knows you exist until you let them know you exist. By networking you not only get seen, but you’ll have the opportunity to create an unpaid sales force of people who will refer you when the time is right.
Massively Speak! Be Heard!
Speaking in front of audiences about HOW you can improve their lives with the services you offer gives you the opportunity to use your time wisely. Instead of talking to people one at a time, speak to a group of people. Then you are you’re educating more than one person at a time (even if you create your own group to speak to).
Massively be KNOWN for who you are and what you do!
Once you begin to network and speak, you want to connect with your community in ways that they see YOU as a “leader”. Being seen as a leader doesn’t cost a lot of money, but it takes YOU putting yourself out there and making the right connections. YOU want to be that GO TO person.
Massively be Referred!
People and businesses aren’t referred until they educate people on HOW to refer them! It’s YOUR job to teach your market and your network how to refer you. Once you do this consistently, you’ll have so many referrals that you will need to create a waiting list (winky face)!
