Stay informed - TaskComplete now has an RSS feed
|
Monday, April 25, 2005
|
|
TaskComplete now enables you to keep an eye on changes to tasks, discussions, and events
right from your favorite news reader. Just login to your account and goto the 'RSS Options'
menu to customize your feed and get the subscription link.
How will this feature benefit me?
Content delivered through RSS allows end users to choose the means in which they read it.
Plug-ins exist for Microsoft Outlook, Firefox, Internet Explorer as well as stand-alone
tools. Several web sites offer the ability to add RSS content into
a personal web page. Now, instead of visiting a bunch of web sites everyday, you can
visit one which will consolidate all your favorite content into one place. When you see
that something has changed or is interesting, you can follow a link directly to the topic.
Here is a list of RSS tools that will work with TaskComplete.

are available for an event. Every user has access to this team calendar thereby reducing
scheduling conflicts.
The calendars have been modified to include both tasks and events.
A weekly calendar has been added which provides another method of viewing
tasks and events. The monthly calendar has been changed to summarize
tasks and events graphically and additional icons provide
visual cues to assist a user in identifying items that may require attention.
Several other enhancements include:
-
Log in information can be remembered so a user does not need to
authenticate on each visit to the site.
-
All the calendars and team schedule can be configured to be sent in a daily email.
-
